Welcome! Thanks for joining me. I'm Jaime.

Welcome to my page! I created this to share a bit about the studies, work, research, and outreach activities that I have been lucky enough to be apart of. I am a doctoral student at Auburn University studying in the Civil Engineering Department. I spend a lot of my time working on construction stormwater management, specifically in erosion and sediment control performance evaluation and design. While I've stayed focused on research throughout graduate school, I jump at any chance I can get leading in the classroom! I am passionate about incorporating DEI initiatives in and outside of the classroom and serving as a role model for first-generation college and young-womxn students, like myself, in STEM.

Although my work and studies have kept me moving, the country roads of West Virginia still call me home! Prior to my doctoral studies, I received my M.S. from Iowa State University and B.S. from West Virginia University.

This page is intended to highlight my professional work, however, life is all about balance. Check out my "ENJOY" section to see how I play! Spoiler alert: good food, travels, people, and pups are sure to be featured.

Thanks again for visiting. I hope you enjoy your stay and look forward to chatting soon!
